5. Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, My Chemical Romance
If you’re emo and you don’t absolutely rate this album, go and sit on the scene step- you are not okay. This album gave us 2000’s rage with tracks like ‘I’m Not Okay’ and ‘Helena’. Even now, this album brings back so many memories of an Emo world that is no longer, thank you to Gerard Way who left the band in 2013.
4. Bleed American, Jimmy Eat World
This album gives off major ‘One Tree Hill’ vibes if you ever watched it. Probably because Bleed American was one half of that whole soundtrack. This album included track ‘The Middle’ which is probably the anthem of teenagery for every Emo gal out there. And don’t forget tear jerker ‘Hear you Me’, which I personally want played at my funeral.
3. Disgusting, Beartooth
Oh my babies. Beartooth is one of my favourite bands in the whole world and I know many fellow Emo’s will agree. In fact, whilst I was writing this, my flat mate left the apartment because I kept blasting ‘Body Bag.’
2. Riot, Paramore
As soon as you put in this album, and ‘For a Pessimist, I’m pretty Optimistic’ comes on, you are transported to fourteen year old you, over-doing your eyeliner and listening to Misery Business, with burning emotions about the boy you like.
- Life’s Not Out To Get You, Neck Deep
I actually met Neck Deep when they were starting out in 2014 and I’ve never met a lovelier bunch of guys. This album will make your emo veins scream inside and make you wanna leave your home town and grab a pizza.
